Supporting our Black Student Achievement Initiative’s Sankofa Village with Drs. Norma Spencer and Elyssa Taylor-Stewart of Long Beach Unified School District in the Long Beach MLK Day Parade.

Enjoyed my time in community during 2025’s powerful listening sessions held by Drs. Pam Lovett and Elyssa Taylor -Stewert. Listening to one of my academic north star’s—Dr. Sonya Douglas—inspire continued commitment to Black students was the highlight of this first event.
